BEBC's Yahoo! Groups Forum Underused
During the few years that I have been webmaster for the BEBC, I have also been the one to post documents in the Yahoo group set up many years ago. What I discovered was that there were only a handful of members registered there, and the only way the group was used was as an email reminder when each month's documents were accessible. No other feature of the web site was ever used. I no longer post in Yahoo Groups, but I do have a much larger email notification system set up now from me personally. Everyone who is in my distribution list receives an email notice when the latest documents are posted on our web site. This has proven to be a popular feature and much farther reaching. If you have not been added to my list and want to be, please send your email address to me.
